A current Commercial Energy Performance Certificate [CEPC] is required for almost
all commercial buildings whenever built, rented or sold. It is a legal
requirement and the responsibility
of the owner to have a valid Commercial EPC to show to prospective buyers
and
tenants.

A domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) gives
home owners, tenants and buyers information on the energy efficiency
of their property. It gives the building a standard energy and carbon
emission efficiency grade from A to G, where A is the most efficient.
The average efficiency grade to date is D. In simple terms, an Energy
Performance Certificate (EPC) is a record of the actual and potential
energy saving aspects of
a particular property.
